KINSO TETSUBOKU RYOCHI NO SYO (lit “ Book of the treatment of incision wound and sprains “)
The rare book that only a few books exist in a public institution (one book and several manuscripts that are supposedly a printed book). About 60 pages, includes a full-color figure of more than 100 affected area, treat surgically, and medical instruments.
Almost no moth holes., no damage, all page complete. It is an example of the excellent state of preservation.
Reorganization by Nishi Gentetsu of European surgery book “koi geka soden” by Narabayashi Chinzan (It was edited in reference to French surgeon Ambroise Parés’ book, Chinese surgery books, the Knowledge obtained from the Dutch trading house doctor Willem Hoffman of Dejima in Nagasaki. According to the preface of Kaibara Ekken was published in 1706.).
Author Gentetsu was Okuishi, medical officer of the Edo shogunate to treat only the Syogun and generals’ families.
